The Hotel Ritz is a four stars hotel with a very nice location along the River, in one of the most exclusive areas of Florence, close to the Church of Santa Croce. The Bargello Museum, the Uffizi, and the Ponte Vecchio are just in a short walking distance.
The Hotel Ritz is listed in the Frommer’s Tuscany and Umbria Guide, 1998 edition, as "One of the more intimate hotels along the Arno"..."The walls are hung with reproductions of Italian art from the Renaissance to Modigliani, and the reading room and the bar are both cozy. Room decor varies; some floors have wood or marble, others are carpeted."
The Fodor's Florence, Tuscany and Umbria 1999 edition, writes: "Set amidst a row of buildings on the Arno, this old hotel has been given new energy by young owners who have worked to give it a comfortable family feeling. They’ve decorated to make clients feel as if they are guests in a very pretty 19th-century Florentine home with 20th-century amenities. Almost all the rooms have dramatic views of the river or the domed, red-roofed “skyline” of Florence."

Hotel Facilities:

The Hotel has 4 floors and 30 rooms. Each floor is served by an elevator. A bar and an e-mail point are available for the guests. The staff will be happy to help the guests in booking tours of Florence and having informations about all the Florentine’s events. Garage on payment (25 euro per day) located behind the hotel. The rich buffet breakfast, included in the rate, is served in a nice breakfast room.
